I'm a second-year law student...

I am currently pursuing a Juris Doctor at Washington University School of Law. Combining my background in design and the arts with my interests in freedom of expression, unfair competition, and privacy, I plan to pursue a career in intellectual property with a focus on copyrights and trademarks. As a designer and artist myself, the importance of financing, the value of ownership, and First amendment rights are issues that deeply resonate with me. It is my goal to apply my law education in helping clients protect their work from unfair competition, practice good business management, and be informed of their rights. I am currently serving as staff editor for the Washington University Jurisprudence Review and externing at the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) of Missouri.

...who can really design and illustrate...

In May 2014, I earned my BFA in Communication Design from the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts at Washington University in St. Louis, graduating magna cum laude. Not all of my works uniformly represent a marriage of design and illustration. I believe that the concept and medium determine the mode of visual representation. I love that I can do both—sometimes separately but mostly simultaneously.

...and holds a minor in art history...

An avid reader/writer and constant doodler, I found a way to combine to my passion for academia and art through the field of art history. My familiarity with the history of Ancient Roman Art, Modern European and American Art, and Contemporary Chinese Art has helped me enrich and sharpen my approach to designing and illustrating.

...with a big, big appetite.

I am a major foodie. During my free time, I love exploring neighborhood foodie gems. In my creative studio #2 (the kitchen), you can find me adding my own twist on flavors and dishes that inspire me. I'm a pork belly, okra, truffle oil, more-butter-and-garlic-and-black-pepper-please kind of girl.
